		<description><![CDATA[The upcoming corn harvest looks very promising. Alfalfa hay harvest is in the wrap-up stage. Dry edible thrashing is getting underway. And we will be digging spuds soon. Peach picking continues on Colorado&#8217;s Western Slope along with the Apple harvest. This to mention a few of the many crops grown here in the West.

		<description><![CDATA[Our first county fair in Greeley yesterday, which was are initial fair to cover 52 years ago when we came to Colorado.  The Weld County Fair is one of the largest in the Nation with a wide variety of field crops and livestock.

		<description><![CDATA[This is the beef seedstock selecting season.  There have been a number of purebred bull &#038; female sales especially in Nebraska and in Idaho with prices generally above last year.
We&#8217;re headed to Anaheim for the Commodity Classic covering Corn, Soybeans, Sorghum and Wheat Growers getting together to compare and share information.
